The College of Food and Pharmaceutical Engineering of Wuzhou University (Liubao Tea Modern Industry College) was established in 2021. Its predecessor was the College of Chemical Engineering and Resource Reuse (co-located with the College of Mechanical and Materials Engineering). There are three undergraduate majors in this college, namely, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Tea Science, and Food Science and Engineering, among which, Pharmaceutical Engineering is a specialty and a first-class major at the autonomous region level in Guangxi while Tea Science is a specialty in Wuzhou.

There are 37 faculty members in this college currently, including 6 professors (1 Level-2 Professor), 13 associate professors, and 11 teachers with doctorates. Among the teachers, 1 has been awarded the title of Distinguished Teacher; 2 serve as Members of the Teaching Steering Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; 3 work as Master Tutor. The college also employs 11 well-known scholars and industry experts at home and abroad as part-time visiting professors.
